However, the engine’s exciting features are lost since it is coupled to a continuously variable automatic gearbox (CVT). The CVT’s reflexes, which resemble a cogged-gear automatic gearbox, conceal what works effectively in a Z coupe. But the car is still fast enough to go from 0 to 60 mph in less than seven seconds, even though it moves slowly and groans as it goes through its rev range.
The Maxima SR has already established its mediocrity with paddle shifters and eight preset ratios. Is it more sporty due to the V-6’s superiority to the Altima? Indeed, the Maxima’s most distinctive feature is its delightful ride. The Maxima isn’t quite a sports sedan, but its nimble handling goes nicely hand in hand with its plush interior.
