The Maxima’s V-6 engine sets it apart from its more affordable siblings. There are 300 horsepower and 261 lb-feet of torque available from the 3.5-liter V-6 engine. As a result, it loses some of its thrilling attributes when it is mated to a continuously variable automatic gearbox (CVT). The CVT’s reflexes, which resemble those of a cogged-gear automatic gearbox, conceal what works effectively in a Z coupe. At low speeds, the vehicle feels more like an economy vehicle than a sports sedan. Nonetheless, it still has enough power to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than seven seconds.
Maxima’s maturity has already been established. If it has a V-6, does that mean it’s more sporty than the Altima? In fact, the Maxima’s most defining feature is its tremendously enjoyable ride. However, even though the Maxima isn’t a sports sedan, its quick handling enhances the vehicle’s sumptuous ride. Smaller sport sedans can be had for more than $40,000 that are more enjoyable to drive, even with the SR’s suspension and brakes beefed up.

However, even if the Maxima SV starts at $37,915 less than the other models, it still comes equipped with leather seats and an 8.0-inch touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For $43,075, you get 19-inch wheels and a stronger suspension in the Maxima SR.
